Back to the Content: the Camcast returns this week!

G’day, everyone!

First, before I get to the good stuff, let me just get my usual routine out of the way of apologizing for the lack of content lately on not only our YouTube and SoundCloud channels, but on our social media pages as well. It’s been a rather busy, stressful couple months and, unfortunately, Geek Pants has been bumped to the back of the line. With that said, though, here’s the cool news...

If everything goes according to plan, there will be TWO new Camcast episodes going live this week as well as an extra special surprise. The Camcast episodes are in my ballpark, so they should definitely reach completion and be released, but the extra special surprise is still a maybe at this point (my goal was to air it for Halloween, so it’s a tight push right now to have it completed).

First up, the 100th episode of the Geek Pants Camcast! Yes, it’s already been 3 years of Camcasting and Chris and I are reaching the triple digits! How crazy is that?! The main focus of the 100th episode is reviewing/discussing the 1984 classic BACK TO THE FUTURE (thanks for the suggestion, Maui Masashi), but expect a lot of off-topic wackiness as usual! Plus, does Chris eat that ketchup sandwich that he’s been dreading due to the release of THE NEW MUTANTS?! Stay tuned!

Then, on Episode 101, we continue our scary season tradition of celebrating Halloween by reviewing/discussing the 1988 remake of THE BLOB! Episode 102, which will likely air after Halloween, will focus on John Carpenter’s THE THING. On top of that, we’ll also be releasing our review of John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN from last year as a new segment this Friday.

Episode 100 will air sometime tonight (would’ve been earlier, but upload errors delayed the release) while 101 will likely air on Thursday. Have a fantastic Halloween week, geeks! Talk soon!
